One man in hospital following shooting outside Vancouver restaurant

One man was taken to hospital following an early Sunday shooting outside a Vancouver restaurant.
According to B.C. Emergency Health Services, one man was taken to hospital just after midnight after shots were fired outside the New Mandarin Seafood Restaurant near Gladstone and Kingsway streets.
The man, who was suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound, was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police have not yet shared any details, though police dog units and emergency response team members were on site assisting with the investigation following the shooting.
No information has been released about a suspect or possible motive.
