Richmond woman charged with fraud, mail theft and forgery

Richmond police are asking the public to help find a 26-year-old woman wanted on charges of credit card fraud, mail theft and forgery.

Erica Esquieres is facing 30 charges related to a string of crimes committed throughout the province, including in Richmond, Vancouver, Penticton, Surrey and Oliver. It’s alleged Esquieres impersonated victims in order to access money from their bank accounts, make fraudulent purchases and rent vehicles.

She was released from custody in July 2019 and hasn’t been seen since.

Police are asking anyone with information about Esquieres to contact investigators at 604-278-1212.
