A North Shore Rescue helicopter will fly over North Vancouver parks on Wednesday in search of a missing woman.

Joanna Napierala hasn’t been seen since Monday around 11 p.m. She was last spotted in the Woodcroft apartment complex in the 2000-block of Fullerton Avenue in North Vancouver.

Police believe she may be in a park in the Capilano area, including Klee Wyck Park, Hugo Ray Park, Capilano Park and Capilano River Regional Park.

Rescuers will be using a thermal imaging infrared camera on the helicopter to try to locate Napierala.

Napierala is described as a white woman around 5-foot-9, weighing about 99 pounds and with brown hair that was dyed red.

Anyone who recognizes Nepierala should contact North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and cite file number 19-24582.
