Truck with 100 pigs goes out of control, kills 5 persons who hitched a ride

BACOLOD CITY–Five persons were killed while another was injured when a truck that gave them a ride along with its cargo of 100 pigs went out of control as it approached a slope downhill at the village of Mayanon, Zamboanguita town, Negros Oriental province on Friday (July 26).
The fatalities were Nenita Olivar, Tito Ramirez, Edgardo Ramirez, Boboy Maglukot, and Rusty James Rafael Suonaray, whose ages are to yet to be determined, according to first responders at the Zamboanguita Fire Station.
The truck was loaded with 100 pigs for delivery to Cebu./tsb
