3 nabbed in Bulacan drug bust; P4.1 M shabu seized

MANILA, Philippines – Three drug suspects were arrested while an estimated P4.1 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) was confiscated in Baliwag, Bulacan early Wednesday.
The Bulacan police provincial identified the suspects as John Peter Cruz, alias Bunso, 20; Melchor Fernando, alias Mel and Raffy Ann Denully, alias Raf, 19.
Authorities said they received reports regarding Cruz’s illegal activities and conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion at around 4 a.m.
The suspects yielded 611.75 grams of shabu with a street value of worth P4,159,900; P1,000 cash and marked money.
The Bulacan police said Cruz and Fernando are included in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) drugs watchlist.
Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspects. /gsg
