NAPOLCOM accepts applications for PESE

The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is accepting applications for the August 25, 2019 Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) Written Examination for Police Commissioned Officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) until July 19, 2019.
NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao said that the PESE Written Examination is open to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP with the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel with permanent status of appointment.
“The PESE examination has two phases and is composed of analytical questions on police leadership and police values to test the competence, skills and mettle of future leaders of the PNP,’’ Casurao said.
He noted that only those who pass the first phase, which is the written examination, are qualified to proceed to the second phase, which is the validation interview.
Passers of the validation interview shall be conferred the PES eligibility which is one of the requirements for promotion to the third-level ranks of Police Colonel, Police Brigadier General, PoliceMajor General, Police Lieutenant General and Police General.
Application forms and index cards can be obtained for free at the NAPOLCOM central office or in any NAPOLCOM regional office.
