Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, in a Viber message to reporters, said Go would also get the chairmanships of committees on health, and the urban planning, housing and resettlement.

The committees on health and urban planning are currently being held by outgoing Senator JV Ejercito, who lost his reelection bid  in the last May elections.

Go, in a separate statement late Wednesday, has expressed interest to hold “leadership” roles— on committees on health, urban planning, sports and education. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
