OUTGOING Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino 4th on Wednesday said he has entrusted his fate in the 2019 elections to God, as he vowed to continue serving the Filipino people in whatever way he could in a private capacity.

While we were not lucky to get a second term, my love and my passion to serve our people has not diminished, and we will do this in other field), said Aquino in a statement.

It’s a big honor to serve our countrymen and that’s why we whole-heartedly thank those who worked and supported me in the past six years and during the past campaign months), he added.

Days before the elections, Aquino said he surrendered his fate to God, believing in His plans for him and for the country.

Believing His plans for me and most especially for all, for our nation), said Aquino.I
