Villar, ACT-CIS continue to lead in partial, unofficial survey

REELECTIONIST Senator Cynthia Villar maintains her lead in the partial and unofficial count of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting on Wednesday.
As of 5:01 p.m., Villar garnered 24,764,666 votes, ahead of fellow re-electionist Senator Grace Poe, with 21,643,922 votes.
Former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go remains in third, breaching the 20 million mark, with 20,109,888 votes.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Pilar Juliana “Pia” Cayetano was in fourth, with 19,364,079 votes followed by former police chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa in fifth with 18,483,330 votes.
Other candidates in the “Magic 12” remained in their respective positions: Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara (17,802,992 votes), Lito Lapid (16,647,314 votes), Imee Marcos (15,536,314 votes), Francis Tolentino (15,120,250 votes), Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (14,316,445 votes), Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd (14,311,742 votes), and Nancy Binay (14,265,742 votes).
Meanwhile, the Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support partylist (ACT-CIS), with 2,581,830 votes, remains atop the partylist race, followed by Bayan Muna (1,096,733 votes) and Ako Bicol (1,042,549 votes).
Christian party-list Citizens’ Battlecry Against Corruption (CIBAC) is in fourth, with 914,300 votes and Ang Probinsyano in fifth, with 754,613 votes.
The senatorial count came from 84,937 clustered precincts, while the partylist count came from 84,938 precincts. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
