Disqualification case filed against Cavite gov bet Remulla

A DISQUALIFICATION case has been filed against Cavite gubernatorial candidate Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for alleged vote buying.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday by a certain Efepania Sunico of Bacoor, Cavite, through her counsel Mynoa Sto.Domingo, following the arrest last week of several Remulla supporters.
Sto. Domingo told reporters that Sunico filed the case of her own volition as a private citizen and has nothing to do whatsoever with politics.
The lawyer claimed that the petitioner “sought her help in filing the case and “I’m doing it pro bono (for free).”
