SC suspends work in NCR, C. Luzon courts

MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court has suspended work in all courts in Metro Manila and Central Luzon on Tuesday, following the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that rocked parts of Luzon last Monday.
In an advisory issued by its Public Information Office (PIO), the work suspension was issued pending inspection of the safety and structural integrity of court houses.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court gave Executive Judges the discretion to suspend work in other areas. /gsg
