MANILA, Philippines — The management of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) reported no damage on all of its runways and taxiways following a strong quake that shook several parts of Luzon on Monday.

According to Ed Monreal, airport general manager, facilities in all of its terminals are properly functioning despite the magnitude 6.1 quake.

“Inspection of possible effects of the earthquake to the airport structures is ongoing with no findings initially reported,” Monreal said in a statement.

He then said that it is “business as usual” at NAIA with its runways safe for landing and take-off.
