Delta marks its first year into the approval of its joint venture with Korean Air. Pictured is Delta CEO Ed Bastian (left) and Korean Air Chairman Cho Yang-ho during the joint venture signing. The JV with Korea Air has been one of the fastest-integrating partnerships that promotes shared focus on customers and a vision to grow together. They are building the most comprehensive and reliable network in the Transpacific by providing their customers unparalleled access to over 80 destinations in Asia and more than 290 in the U.S. On April 1, Delta began its service from Minneapolis/St. Paul hub to Seoul-Incheon, featuring their newly refurbished Boeing 777s. The new Korean Air service between Seoul-Incheon and Delta’s growing focus city, Boston, begins on April 12 on their new 787-9s.
