Firms to jack up oil prices by P1/L

BEFORE motorists could enjoy the week-long holiday, they will have to contend with big-time oil price increases effective on Tuesday.

Oil firms announced upward adjustments in the prices of diesel, gasoline and kerosene by P0.75, P1.05 and P0.60 per liter respectively.

Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, Pilipinas Shell, and Seaoil made the announcements early and others were expected to follow suit.

Last week, diesel, gasoline and kerosene increased by P0.20, P0.25 and P0.10 centavos per liter.
