LRT, MRT trains to shut down on Holy Week

THE Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 and 2 will be shut down for maintenance from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.

In social media posts, the LRT 1 and LRT 2 management said regular operations would be until Wednesday next week.

LRT 1 will run from 4:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. to Baclaran and from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. to Roosevelt.

LRT 2 will have a shorter schedule on Wednesday next week, with the last train leaving at 7 p.m. westbound and 7:30 p.m. eastbound.

It was announced in March that the MRT 3 would also undergo maintenance on its line starting on Monday.

Regular operations will resume on April 22. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
