A 12-foot-long Burmese python was found by residents slithering from a creek in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City, early Tuesday morning.

According to Francis Palamos, 35, he was manning the wake of his father outside their house on 2nd Street in Kalayaan B, Barangay Batasan Hills, around 3:30 a.m. when he spotted a white and yellow Albino Burmese python coming from a nearby creek and moving towards them.

This prompted Palamos and his relatives to capture the python and turn it over to the Quezon City Police Station 6.

Authorities immediately bring the python to the Quezon City Wildlife Center. (Alexandria San Juan)
