A deal is yet to be made but oddsmakers have installed Errol Spence as the big favorite should he ends up meeting Manny Pacquiao in a welterweight war.

According to BetOnline.ag, Spence, holder of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), will be a -450 betting favorite; Pacquiao, the World Boxing Association (WBA) titlist, a +325 underdog.

In betting lingo, a $450 bet on Spence wins a mere $100 while a $100 wager on Pacquiao wins $325.

Spence, 29, younger by 11 years and taller by four inches at almost 5-10, is coming off a lopsided win over Mikey Garcia in Dallas, Texas, to retain his IBF 147-lb title.

Pacquiao and Spence both fight under Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions but have yet to officially discuss the prospects of facing off although they have made it known their willingness to get it on.

Pacquiao soundly beat Adrien Broner in Las Vegas last January in the first defense of his WBA crown and is looking forward to a ring return in July.

The Senate is on a lengthy break and will resume in late-July, allowing the eight-division champion to train without distractions.

Recently, Pacquiao is conducting an online poll as to who his fans would like to see him fight next.

The name of Floyd Mayweather continues to lead the race with nary a mention of Spence, who is widely regarded now as the top welterweight in the world today.
