Miss Universe pays courtesy call to Vice President Robredo

MISS Universe 2018 Catriona Gray paid a courtesy call this morning to Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo.
“We want to thank you for giving us this honor and we want to thank you for giving us this opportunity to thank you personally for making us proud to be Filipinos, for giving us a reason to be united again as one people,” Robredo said.
Gray was given a landap, a product of women weavers from Marawi City.
A short video presentation was also shown to express gratitude to the reigning Miss Universe.
In her message, the reigning Miss Universe said that “enough small changes or enough small acts of goodwill or good things, they make big difference when put all together.”
“Thank you so much for having me…it’s such an honor representing our country, the Philippines, internationally and I would dedicate this year and beyond to purposeful service and giving back to our country,” Gray said.
