Molino said she was able to buy vegetables like bell pepper, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, radish, tomatoes collectively weighing 40 kilos for only P1,500.
According to previous reports, farmers from Benguet province were forced to throw vegetables they harvested because of its sinking prices in the market amid oversupply.
This urged Iloisa Romaraog of Session Groceries to start delivering goods to consumers in Metro Manila.
In her Facebook post last Jan.13, Romaraog stated the guidelines on how to order from their online store.

At the end of her post, she wrote a note that read: “Direct price from our farmers. Session Groceries’ goal is to help. We shoulder extra charges on the packaging. Thank you for helping our highland farmers. May God bless you.” /muf
