University of Perpetual Help System DALTA guns for the last Final Four spot against Jose Rizal University (JRU) in Season 94 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women’s volleyball tournament today at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Game starts at 12 noon.

Perpetual Help is currently No. 4 with a 5-3 record while Jose Rizal U is No. 5 with a 4-4 card.

Should the Lady Altas lost to the Lady Bombers, the two contenders will face off anew for the right to challenge top seed and twice-to-beat holder College of St. Benilde in the semifinals.

The other semifinal pairing is already set; with defending champion Arellano University holding a win-once edge over rival San Beda University.

Perpetual Help entered the playoff for the last Final Four seat after eliminating San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 25-19, 25-8, 18-25, 25-17, on Monday.

Jowie Versoza, Jenny Gaviola and Cindy Imbo are expected to lead the charge for the Las Piñas-based squad, which is raring to make its second straight semifinals appearance.

JRU has the same goal.

The Lady Bombers, who suffered a 25-20, 17-25, 20-25, 22-25 defeat to St. Benilde last week are keen to force a do-or-die game.

The Mandaluyong-based team’s semifinal bid is now in the hands of Dolly Grace Versoza and Rose Rizza.

In the 2 p.m. second game, eliminated squads Lyceum of the Philippines University (3-5) and Colegio de San Juan de Letran (2-6) aim to finish the season with at least a win.
