“[He is one of the leaders on set,” Manalo said of Avelino. “We respect ‘yung director namin. Pero kapag nandyan si Pau, alam ko na kailan magseryoso (but when Pau is there, we know that we need to be serious) because we need to do what we need to do. He’s the type of person who would lead you to do better when it comes to doing every scene.”

Avelino shared that he discovered that Chiu could get annoyed when it comes to work-related matters, although he didn’t disclose which particular event she was annoyed about.”

“Ang nadiscover ko kay Kim habang ginagawa ang pelikulang ‘to ay marunong pala siyang magalit. Marunong din pala siya magreklamo,” he said.

“Baka nahawa na siya sa’kin pero sana hindi ko impluwensya ‘yun,” Avelino added in jest.

(What I discovered about Kim while doing this film was that she knows how to get angry. She knows how to complain. Maybe she got it from me but I hope she wasn’t influenced by me.)

“My Love Will Make You Disappear” marks Chiu and Avelino’s third time working together after the dramas “Linlang” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.” The film is set to hit theaters on March 26.
