But that was not the first time that Dimaranan aimed to earn the right to represent the Philippines on the Miss Universe stage. She joined the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in 2012 when the national tilt still held the franchise for the global contest.

She bagged a crown in the national search, as Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism, with Janine Tugonon taking home the Miss Universe Philippines title.

And while Tugonon placed second in the Miss Universe pageant. Dimaranan was not sent to any international competition, up to the time she relinquihed her title to her successor in 2013.

Dimaranan returned to the US after finishing her duties as Binibining Pilipinas. She was later appointed to compete in the 2018 Miss Supranational pageant as Miss USA, and eventually finished second to Puerto Rico’s Valeria Vazquez. Bb. Pilipinas Jehza Huellar was in the Top 10 that year.

And while she may not be staging a pageant comeback this year, Dimaranan continued to thank her followers, and expressed her support to those who will compete.

Dimaranan is the third Bb. Pilipinas titleholder to dispel rumors about joining the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
