The winter transfer window won’t reopen in Europe for a while yet, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Barcelona and Juventus are weighing moves for Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho, according to The Sun.

The European giants are said to be “monitoring the situation” at Old Trafford, amid reports of a rift between Garnacho and Man United manager Erik ten Hag.

The rumours have seemingly put Barca and Juve on high alert, who could be tempted into meeting Man United’s asking price of £50 million ($65.6m). Any such move isn’t imminent, however, as The Sun says a transfer would likely take place next summer rather than in January.

Academy graduate Garnacho was impressive for the Red Devils last season, contributing nine goals and four assists for the club in testing circumstances. He has not publicly shared any desire to leave Man United, despite the reports of a rift with his manager.

Chelsea are monitoring the development of 18-year-old Santos sensation João Pedro Chermont, per Brazilian outlet UOL. Chelsea had a $6.6 million bid turned down by Santos this summer, and the Blues could return with an improved offer in January. The Brasileiro Serie B side would be willing to accept an offer below his release clause of $77.2 million in a bid to ease their financial woes after getting relegated from the top-flight last season.

Newcastle United are looking at making a move for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, per Ekrem Konur. While the 22-year-old winger has long been regarded as a future star at Old Trafford, a lack of regular playing time, combined with his contract expiring in 2025, has opened the door to a potential exit. Diallo has played just 18 times in the Premier League for Man United since joining in 2021, scoring twice.

AFC Bournemouth duo Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez are emerging as targets for several Premier League teams, according to the Daily Mail. While the outlet doesn’t reveal which clubs are keen on the pair, it is perhaps unsurprising given the fine form they’ve shown this season. Winger Semenyo has three goals already this season, while Kerkez has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in recent months.

Ben Chilwell is still expected to depart Chelsea this winter after club manager Enzo Maresca signalled that he did not regret leaving the left-back out of his UEFA Conference League squad, reports Fabrizio Romano. Chilwell has been frozen out at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Maresca this summer, who has made Marc Cucurella his first-choice left-back. With no prospect of starting for Chelsea in big matches this season, Chilwell is expected to leave West London in January.

– Boca Juniors are confident they can secure the signing of Fernando Gago as their next head coach, according to Nicolo Schira. The former Real Madrid player has been in charge of Mexican side Chivas since the beginning of the year, where he is contracted until December 2025. However, Boca and Chivas are currently locked in talks to try and reach an agreement over a compensation fee for the 38-year-old.
