Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, according to The Sun.

With Bayern legend Manuel Neuer edging towards the end of his career, Brazil international Alisson has been identified as a possible replacement for the 38-year-old.

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is said to be a huge admirer of the Liverpool keeper, who has been at Anfield since 2018. The paper suggests Bayern could launch an audacious bid to sign the 31-year-old next summer, although they will face stiff competition from a number of clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Liverpool are reportedly already “braced” for Alisson’s departure, with Valencia stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join Arne Slot’s squad in 2025 after a $33.5 million deal was agreed in August. Alisson’s current contract runs until June 2027.

Barcelona are set to complete the signing of Wojciech Szczesny on Monday, says Fabrizio Romano. The goalkeeper has been a free agent since leaving Juventus earlier this summer. The Spanish giants were prompted into signing Szczesny after their regular No. 1 Marc-André ter Stegen picked up a serious knee injury last week which could rule him out for the rest of this season.

Manchester City are considering making a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi following the injury picked up by his international teammate Rodri, Football Insider reports. The outlet says that the 25-year-old had second thoughts after turning down a move to Liverpool earlier this summer, which has seemingly left the door open for Man City to test the waters with a January bid.

Arsenal and Manchester United have joined the race to sign promising Hammerby winger Bazoumana Toure, as per the Daily Mirror. The 18-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Brighton & Hove Albion and could be available for as little as £5m when the transfer window reopens in January.

– Manchester United could turn to Sunderland‘s Anthony Patterson in their pursuit of a back-up goalkeeper to André Onana, The Sun claims. The outlet reports that Red Devils scout Tony Coton has already watched Patterson, who has impressed between the sticks for Sunderland this season. The 24-year-old is also viewed by Liverpool as a possible replacement for Caoimhín Kelleher should the Republic of Ireland international leave the club.

– Juventus do not have an option to purchase Francisco Conceição from FC Porto, Nicolo Schira has revealed. The winger is currently on loan at Juve from Porto, after the Serie A club paid a loan fee of $7.8m. Conceicao scored his first goal for the Bianconeri this weekend in the side’s 3-0 away win against Genoa, which has raised questions about his long-term future.
