The summer transfer window is open! Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Napoli have made a €25million ($28m) offer to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to Sky Sports.

Negotiations are believed to be ongoing between both clubs, with the Serie A side keen to sign the 27-year-old on loan with a permanent clause that they would have a mandatory obligation to activate next summer.

Despite being open to parting ways with him in the current transfer window, €25m is reportedly short of the Red Devils’ valuation, and they have previously been said to be holding out for closer to €35million.

McTominay has made appearances in both matches for manager manager Erik ten Hag’s side so far this season, most recently coming on as a substitute in last week’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Fulham at Old Trafford. He has made a total of 253 career club appearances since his debut in May 2017.

– A €30million agreement has been reached between Chelsea and Napoli for striker Romelu Lukaku, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. The 31-year-old is set to join the Serie A club on a permanent basis after manager Antonio Conte placed him at the top of his wishlist, having previously managed the Belgium international at Internazionale. Lukaku is reported to be ready to sign a three-year contract worth €6million-per-season.

Arsenal have placed Athletic Club winger Nico Williams at the top of their shortlist, according to the Independent. Manager Mikel Arteta is reported to be keen to reinforce his forward line this summer, but despite exploring a move for the 22-year-old, it is believed that Williams’ preference is to remain in Spain should he decide to move on.

Liverpool are considering a move for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, reports Team Talk. The Reds reportedly could challenge Juventus for the 26-year-old Netherlands international, though tempting him away from La Dea will require a €60million offer. New Liverpool manager Arne Slot is yet to make a signing in the current transfer window.

– A deal has been completed by Brighton for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley, says Fabrizio Romano. A £25million offer that includes €5million in incentives is believed to have been agreed by both clubs, while the 23-year-old has already agreed to sign a five-year contract at the Amex Stadium. The Seagulls are also closing in on a move to sign Turkey international full-back Ferdi Kadioglu.

Barcelona centre-back Clément Lenglet is set to join Atletico Madrid on a one-season loan, according to Relevo’s Matte Moretto. Lenglet, 29, has been one of the players that the Blaugrana have been looking to move on this summer, and the latest indicates that he will now join Atleti, though it is reported that he has also signed a contract extension at the Camp Nou.
