The summer transfer window is open! Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Manchester United will look to beat Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig to the signature of Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons, according to Sport.

Simons spent last season on loan with RB Leipzig, where he notched eight goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga, attracting attention from across Europe in the process.

The report reveals that the situation bears similarities with the deal that United struck for Leny Yoro last week. In both situations, United have been the underdogs to sign the player, in this case with PSG and Leipzig’s strong connection making a deal seemingly straightforward. However, an opportunity could open itself up for the Red Devils to land Simons. United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly a huge fan of Simons and his new assistant manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is attempting to convince the 21-year-old to join the club.

It is reported that PSG could be in a position to demand €100 million for the Netherlands international, which is a figure that would make a deal difficult for Bayern Munich and Leipzig. Bayern have previously made an approach in the region of €70m, however, the financial strength of United could see the Bavarian club lose out to the fallen Premier League giants.

Barcelona have also been reported to hold an interest in Simons. The winger spent time in the youth academy at Barcelona, and the report indicates that the Spanish club are interested in a reunion. However, the Catalan giants cannot compete with the financial demands any potential deal would bring, which effectively rules the club out of the race.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are both interested in an approach for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, reveals Football Insider. The 26-year-old notched 11 goals and three assists in the Premier League last season, which has seen the England international attract significant interest. The report reveals that Palace will likely demand a similar figure to the £50m that Bayern Munich paid to secure the signature of Michael Olise. However, it is currently not clear whether Palace will be open to parting ways with Eze, having already seen Olise depart.

Juventus have changed their attention from Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho to FC Porto winger Wenderson Galeno, per Calciomercato. Sancho was reportedly keen on a switch to Juventus, however, the Englishman has since held positive talks with United manager Ten Hag, which could see him stay at Old Trafford. This has left Juventus to ponder alternative options to Sancho. One name that the Turin outfit are interested in is Galeno. The Brazilian notched 16 goals and 12 assists across all competitions last season, and the report reveals that Porto would consider approaches in the region of €40m.

Sevilla will look to strike a deal for Barcelona winger Ansu Fati, according to Sport. The report indicates that should Barcelona land their targets this summer, which includes RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo, Fati could depart the Catalan giants as he falls further down the pecking order. It is reported that Sevilla have made it known that they would be happy to agree a loan deal for Fati, who spent last season on loan with Brighton & Hove Albion. The report reveals that Fati will likely be part of Barcelona’s preseason tour to the USA, however, his future after currently looks unclear.

Al Ittihad have not reached an agreement with Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, despite contrary reports, reveals Fabrizio Romano. The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, however, the report suggests that there has not yet been an agreement reached. Instead, it is reported that Al Ittihad are focusing resources on securing a deal for Aston Villa’s Moussa Diaby, who is expected to join the Saudi outfit. Romano reported that a €60m package with Villa has been agreed, with the move seemingly edging towards completion.

– Crystal Palace and Fulham have received no encouragement from Emile Smith Rowe‘s entourage after their unsuccessful approaches for the midfielder, reports the Sun. It is reported that both clubs saw offers for the Hale End graduate rejected by the Gunners, however, Smith Rowe’s camp have also not pushed for either move. The report suggests that Arsenal will look to secure £30m for the 23-year-old, who has struggled for consistent minutes in recent seasons.
