The summer transfer window is still a way from reopening in Europe, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!
AS Roma forward Paulo Dybala has emerged as a transfer option for Barcelona, according to Diario Sport.
The 30-year-old has been in impressive form for Roma this season, recording 13 goals and seven assists in 26 matches across all competitions, but has now reportedly been offered to the Blaugrana.
Dybala currently has a release clause of €12 million for teams outside of Italy and would like to play in Spain, although there have also been offers from the Premier League.
Barca have liked Dybala for some time — he was often linked with a move to the club during the Lionel Messi era — while the €12m clause plus more modest wages than he was on at Juventus make him affordable. However, signing him could affect the future of fellow forward João Félix, who is currently on loan at Barcelona from Atletico Madrid.
Elsewhere, West Ham United are keen on signing Dybala while Atleti have been made aware of the situation but haven’t made a final decision.
Roma are reportedly keen to renew the forward’s contract and he is willing to listen to their offer, but his preference would be to join Barca if they make a move.

– The Standard have offered an insight into the players that Arsenal are scouting as the Gunners look to bolster their attack in the summer transfer window. The players listed are Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ Pedro Neto, Athletic Club‘s Nico Williams, Brentford‘s Ivan Toney, RB Leipzig‘s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting CP‘s Viktor Gyökeres. They also want to sign a defender and midfielder, while a goalkeeper is likely to be needed if Aaron Ramsdale leaves the club, as expected.
– Benfica centre-back António Silva is on the list of players that Bayern Munich are looking at, and have been doing so for some time, reports Florian Plettenberg, although any move is expected to cost between €70m and €80m and the Bavarians currently don’t want to spend that much. Many other top clubs are monitoring the 20-year-old, as well as Manchester United.
– Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain have come forward in an effort to sign FC Porto midfielder Alan Varela, according to Foot Mercato. Porto are demanding that the 22-year-old’s €70m release clause is met if he is to leave, while Boca Juniors will receive a percentage of any funds due to a clause that was included when he joined the Portuguese club.
– Juventus will not be willing to listen to any offers under €30m-€35m for Roma loanee Dean Huijsen, says Calciomercato. The Bianconeri are currently intent on bringing the 18-year-old centre-back back to the club ahead of next season, although they will listen to reasonable offers. Roma will also make an attempt to sign Huijsen on loan again.
