Lovi Poe keeps dad FPJ’s legacy alive, sister Grace Poe says
As Lovi Poe turned a year older, she received love and messages of support from friends and loved ones including her sister, Sen. Grace Poe, who thanked the actress for keeping alive their dad Fernando Poe Jr.’s legacy through her work.
Grace shared photos showing their strong sisterly bond as well as Lovi’s behind-the-scenes moments in the ABS-CBN series adaptation “Batang Quiapo,” via her Instagram page on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Lovi portrayed the role of Mokang in the TV series which is based on the 1986 movie starring FPJ. She bid farewell to her character in early January.
“Happy birthday, dearest Lovi! Thank you for keeping our father’s legacy alive through your amazing work,” the politician wrote. “I am proud of you. Love you.”

Lovi responded with warmth by expressing her love and gratitude to her older sister via the comment section. This exchange earned the admiration of fans who also sent their birthday greetings to the actress.
Lovi, on her Instagram page, gave a glimpse of her 35th birthday celebration in the United States with her husband Monty Blencowe.
“Twice the fun and joy celebrating my birthday in two different time zones! My heart is full of love with all your messages and greetings…I feel like I can run the world,” she said in the caption.
“Truly grateful for another year filled with so much growth and laughter. Doing what I love with the right people next to me… what more can I ask for,” she concluded.

Lovi is FPJ’s daughter with former actress-model Rowena Moran, while Grace is Da King’s adopted daughter with his wife, the late veteran actress Susan Roces.
The sisters, who first met during the wake of their father in December 2004, also have a brother, DJ-entrepreneur Ron Poe, who’s FPJ’s son with actress Anna Marin.
