Pagasa forecasts light, moderate rains over parts of Bohol on Sunday

MANILA, Philippines — Light to moderate and occasionally heavy rainfalls are expected over parts of Bohol for the next few hours.

According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), this is due to the shear line.

In its rainfall advisory on Sunday morning, the state weather bureau said, “light to moderate with at times heavy” rains will be experienced in the following areas within Bohol:

Earlier, Pagasa said Amihan, or the northwest monsoon, will bring overcast skies and scattered rain showers over Luzon’s eastern and southern parts and the western portion of Visayas.

Meanwhile, light rains and thunderstorms will prevail in Metro Manila on Sunday, while the rest of Mindanao will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
