Davao transport and traffic office’s Facebook page hacked
MANILA, Philippines — A string of sexually explicit posts filled the Facebook page of Davao City’s Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) after it was hacked on Thursday.
The City Government of Davao warned the public of the hacking, which happened at around 1 a.m.
“CTTMO is now working with concerned offices and agencies to regain control over their Facebook page as soon as possible. We advise the public to ignore any messages, links, and online posts shared by the Facebook page,” it said in a public advisory.
From the time hackers assumed control of the CTTMO page, at least 10 sexually explicit videos of women had been posted on the account.
The last official post of the CTTMO was an April 19th notice for tricycle drivers and operators to either secure or renew their permits or franchise.
