‘ROSA’ campaign launched in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—Three prominent political leaders in this city have declared their support for the candidacies of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte during the national launch Monday, March 21, of the Robredo-Sara (ROSA) movement.

The three political figures included Albay 2nd District Rep. Jose Maria Clemente Salceda, Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Rep. and Deputy Speaker Rufus Rodriguez, and Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar.

ROSA stands for candidates from two opposing camps, referring to Robredo, who is running for president as independent, with Sen. Francis Pangilinan as running mate, and Sara, who is running for vice president in tandem with former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who is running for president.

The ROSA campaign has also been launched in the cities of Zamboanga, General Santos, Panabo, Butuan, and Cotabato.
