San Felipe town in Zambales now COVID-free
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — One of the 13 towns in this province now has zero active COVID-19 cases, according to the latest tally of the provincial health office on Wednesday (Feb. 23)
The remaining lone virus-infected patient in San Felipe town has already recovered from the viral disease, it said.
Data also showed that 10 other recoveries and two new infections were added to the province’s tally on the same day, bringing down to 54 its active COVID-19 cases.
The same data showed that the COVID-19 death toll in the province stood at 645, with no new fatalities in the last three days.
Since 2020, the province has recorded 11,515 confirmed cases of COVID-19, but at least 11, 196 or 93.71 percent had recovered.
