Nadine Samonte gets eldest child vaccinated against COVID-19
Nadine Samonte’s eldest child, Heather, has received her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, weeks after the actress revealed that her family had recovered from the disease.
The “StarStruck” alum gave a glimpse of her 5-year-old daughter’s vaccination experience via her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 18. Samonte and her daughter can be seen at a vaccination site with several medical personnel as Heather shows off a bandage on her arm indicating she received her COVID-19 jab.
“So brave and I’m so proud of you, Heather. Thank you to our [pediatrician] Dra. Rizalina Gonzalez for making sure that Heather will be okay and will not be scared. You and the Sta. Rosa team are so galing (great),” she said.
Samonte then added that Heather is looking forward to get her second COVID-19 jab, joking that it might be because of the treats they received at the vaccination site.
“She is excited for her next dose, [baka dahil sa giveaways] (maybe because of the giveaways)?” she told fans.

Samonte revealed last month that her family, including her 1-month-old baby Harmony, all tested positive for COVID-19 but have since recovered. Despite this, she remains grateful because she only experienced mild symptoms and was able to immediately address the condition of her three kids.
Celebrity kids who also received their COVID-19 vaccines recently include Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ daughter Zia; Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s children Lucho and Luna; and Iya Villania and Drew Arellano’s eldest son Primo. /ra
