Mark Villar gets El Shaddai endorsement

MANILA, Philippines — Catholic charismatic group El Shaddai has endorsed Mark Villar for senator in the upcoming May 9 elections, and the former public works and highways chief conveyed his thanks.

El Shaddai leader Brother Mike Velarde made the announcement at the El Shaddai International House of Prayer in Parañaque City on  February 12. He has also endorsed Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for president and Sara Duterte-Carpio for vice president. Villar is part of the senatorial slate of the Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio tandem.

“Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta, nais ko pong pasalamatan si Brother Mike Velarde at sa milyun-milyong kasapi ng El Shaddai. Kami po kasama ang BBM-Sara Uniteam ay may adhikain na pagkakaisa,” Villar said.

“We are always very grateful to Brother Mike for all his support. Maraming salamat din po sa mga naniniwala sa atin. Tayo ay patuloy na maglilingkod sa Diyos at tutulong sa ating mga kababayan,” he added.
