A 35-square-kilometre stretch of land on the eastern slope of Mount Edziza in B.C.’s far northwest has been renamed the Tenh Dẕetle Conservancy, which is more than symbolic as it  represents efforts by the Tahltan Nation to take the lead in co-managing land and resources with the province.
