Covid-19 cases up to 193 — DoH

THE Department of Health (DoH) on Wednesday confirmed six new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19), bringing the count to 193 from 187.
DoH also reported that seven patients have recovered but Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said most of them either have mild symptoms or had no underlying conditions.
As of 11 a.m. on Wednesday, the DoH reported no new casualty. The death toll remains at 14.
The thirteenth casualty, identified as PH126, 76, male, passed away on Tuesday afternoon due to complications from the new coronavirus, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), and severe pneumonia.
A 67 year-old male, identified as PH129, also died on Tuesday due to complications of Covid-19 after acquiring pneumonia and ARDS.
Both patients were confirmed to have had virus on March 15.
