Franziska Hawes is a 32-year-old civil engineer and works in a male dominated construction industry. She booked herself in for a makeup lesson as she wanted to refresh her makeup, which resulted in a new feminine and natural look.
Franziska has fine textured hair, which is normally tied back or covered up under a hard hat at work. We wanted to create a soft, voluminous and sultry hairstyle to play up her beautiful blond hair. Before styling, we sprayed Oribe — Maximista Thickening Spray to her dry hair to provide thermal protective and body building fullness. We then blow dried it using a round brush and created a soft side sweeping style. Using a curling wand, we created soft beachy curls and finished the look with Oribe-Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray for a soft textured finish.
Makeup:
Franziska has gorgeous features and we wanted to show her how to enhance her natural beauty.
We started by showing her how to even out her complexion using a lightweight CC Cream, which she already had in her kit. We enhanced her beautiful blue eyes using tones of cream and brown eyeshadow. We tight lined the upper eye lid using a dark brown waterproof eye line, to help define the lash line, then coated her eye lashes with black mascara. We contoured her face with a light dusting of bronzer and added a light pink blush to the apples of her cheeks. To finish her look we applied a pinky-plum lip tint to her lips.
