Camel Appliances receives Asia’s Famous Brands award

CAMEL Appliances Manufacturing Corp. was the recipient of Asia’s Famous Brand award at the 14th
Asiabrand Ceremony ‒ the Asia-Pacific manufacturing industry’s premier awards show ‒ held in Shenzen, China on Sept. 9, 2019.
Concurrently, the corporation’s founder, William Chan, was recognized as one of the “New
Era Brand Innovators” in recognition of Camel Appliances’ innovations in the field of manufacturing.
However, these awards are just two among the many accolades that the brand has received since its incorporation in 1991. Among these were from the Consumers League of the Philippines for
Best Washing Machine Brand (2010 to 2012), Hall of Fame Award for Electric Fans (2010) and Silver
Seal of Excellence for Electric Fans (2012).
Since its inception 28 years ago, the consumer appliances manufacturer has dedicated itself to innovation, equipping itself with world-class processes, such as ISO Quality Management System certification, effectively paired with a dedicated workforce of over 1,000 personnel nationwide, especially within its three major facilities in Cavite, Davao and Cebu. Camel Appliances boasts of a streamlined logistics system and the presence of several centers where high-caliber appliances are fabricated and assembled.
“These awards are an affirmation of our business strategy and the direction the company is heading to,” said Dennis Perales, vice president for sales and marketing.
