Senior in critical condition after assault in White Rock condo lobby

One man is in hospital in critical condition after an assault Wednesday afternoon in the lobby of a White Rock condominium.
B.C. Emergency Health Services confirmed paramedics were called out shortly before 3 p.m. to reports of a person down in a lobby on Pacific Avenue.
Two ambulances were dispatched and it was determined the patient had suffered a cardiac arrest.
The man was transported to hospital in critical condition.
A spokesperson for the White Rock RCMP was unavailable to comment, but the the Peace Arch News reports that one person has been arrested and is facing aggravated assault charges.
The suspect and the victim reportedly knew each other.
Police were called out shortly before 3 p.m. to the 15200-block of Pacific Avenue for a serious incident, according to a post by the White Rock RCMP on social media.
