Police, firefighters search downtown Vancouver condo for possible drug lab

Vancouver police and firefighters executed a search warrant on Sunday afternoon as part of an investigation into a possible drug lab.
Const. Tania Visintin with Vancouver Police said the search warrant was for a suite located in a downtown Vancouver condominium tower at 1255 Seymour St.
“Due to a possible prevalence of fentanyl, Vancouver Fire Rescue Services as well as a Hazmat team are onsite so the search can be processed in a safe manner for police and the public,” Visintin said in an email.
The left northbound lane of Seymour Street was closed between Drake and Davie as police continued the investigation just before 1 p.m. Sunday.
