Vancouver Weather: Rainy day in store

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Wednesday, Feb. 5. Today’s weather looks wet. Any snow that may still be falling over higher elevations this morning will likely turn to rain as the temperature warms up to a high of 5 C, according to Environment an Climate Change Canada. A snowfall warning was lifted for Metro Vancouver but remained in effect for the Fraser Valley, where up to 20 centimetres was expected overnight. Another five centimetres was expected Wednesday morning before it changes to rain later in the morning.

Expect periods of rain throughout the day Wednesday and overnight, with a low of 3 C. The, there’s more rain in the forecast on Thursday and Friday, with highs of 6 C both days. Looking ahead to the weekend, the weather looks mixed but with some sunshine. Expect a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday with a chance of showers and a high of 7 C. And then Sunday and Monday look pleasant, with a mix of sun and cloud, and highs of 7 C both days.
