Teen thrown off motorcycle after collision with bus gets run over by another bus
LUCENA CITY—A teen passenger of a motorcycle was killed in a crash in the town of Mulanay, Quezon province on Wednesday (Feb. 5).
Police in Mulanay said Joshua Untalan, 17, was riding at the back of a motorcycle being driven by Ramil Manalo, 18, when the motorcycle collided with a bus driven by Rannel Tanola.
The crash took place past 8 a.m. on the national highway at the village of Cambuga, Mulanay.
Untalan was thrown off the motorcycle and landed on the pavement but was ran over by another bus being driven by Jehfrey Osia.
Untalan and the motorcycle driver, Ramil Manalo, were rushed to Bondoc Peninsula Catanauan Hospital but Untalan died on the way.
Manalo, who suffered body injuries, was confined.
Both bus drivers are now in the custody of Mulanay police.
