Scarlet Snow and Dr. Vicki Belo send their love to the affected communities through Red Cross.

Dr. Vicki Belo and her daughter Scarlet Snow personally handed over their donation of Php .5 M to the Philippine Red Cross in support of the operations being conducted for the Taal Volcano eruption as well as other response activities to recent disasters.

Dr. Belo even expressed her confidence to the organization as she said, “The reason that I feel comfortable about giving money to the Red Cross is because I know that the money will definitely go where it’s supposed to go. You’ve been doing such a great job and I hope all the people also contribute. This is the best place to give your money because you [PRC] already have the infrastructure, they’ve been through many disasters and is very organized.”

PRC Chairman and CEO, Sen. Richard Gordon thanked Belo and praised her for teaching Scarlet the values of kusang-loob and malasakit, “Bata pa natututo nang tumulong and that’s important.”
