A taxi driver who went missing for four days was found dead inside a plastic drum in Manila on Thursday afternoon.
Master Sgt. Donald Panaligan, Manila Police District’s (MPD) P/Executive, said the drum was found inside a toilet after residents of Barangay 650 at the Port Area reported a foul smell.
The slain man was identified by his relatives as Jamal Tagsayan from Barangay 647 in San Miguel.
The relatives reported that Tagsayan had been missing for four days, and the taxi he was driving was found at Cavite St., Sta Cruz.
According to the relatives, the victim last contacted his wife in Surigao two or three days ago asking for help.
“Ma, tulungan mo ako, nandito ako sa pier,” the victim said to his wife, according to a relative.
