Chilliwack RCMP seized 45 kilograms of suspected cannabis during a raid of a property believed to be linked to the illegal sale of marijuana products.
Mounties first began investigating the activity surrounding a Quonset hut on a property in the 45000-block of Knight Road in December.
On the evening of Jan. 23 police executed a search warrant of the building and seized 45 kg of suspected cannabis along with cannabis-infused items and edibles. Cops also collected more than 1,000 packages of the potent cannabis concentrate shatter, about one-half kilogram of cocaine, 2.3 kg of psilocybin mushrooms and prepackaged prescription tablets.
Two men were arrested at the scene but later released.
After a full investigation and review of the evidence, Chilliwack RCMP will forward a report to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for consideration of charges.
