Vancouver Weather: Rain then sunshine

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Wednesday, Jan. 29. Metro Vancouver is in for a good soaking today before the weather clears up a bit. Environment and Climate Change Canada says the region can expect rain, at times heavy, with up to 30 millimetres expected, along with wind. The rain should end this afternoon, and then there should be a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 9 C. Overnight, it looks partly cloudy with a low of 6 C, and then the rain returns on Thursday afternoon, with a high of 8 C. On Friday, expect more rain and a high of 11 C. The weekend ahead also looks fairly wet, with showers on Saturday and periods of rain overnight. Then on Sunday there’s a good chance of showers, with a high of 7 C. The it looks like the region may see another dose of sunshine on Monday, as the forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 6 C.
