Two men have been charged with a murder in Surrey last Remembrance Day.
Andrew Baldwin, 30, was killed inside a home in the 10700-block of 124 Street just before 5 p.m. Just three weeks after his younger brother Keith, 27, was shot to death in Chilliwack.
Sgt. Frank Jang, of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, said Monday that Jordan Bottomley and Jagpal Hothi were arrested Friday and charged with first-degree murder.
Both are due to appear today in Surrey Provincial Court.
“There was a great deal of coordinated effort by our investigators and many partners this past weekend that has resulted in charge approval,” Jang said. “IHIT is greatly appreciative of the support and assistance received from the many units that were involved in reaching this positive outcome.”
He said no further information will be released “as the matter is now before the court.”
No one has yet been charged in Keith Baldwin’s murder.
