Another day, another jackknifed semi-truck on Highway 1.

Westbound traffic was stalled on Tuesday morning due to a jackknifed semi-truck on the highway, just west of Sprott Street in Burnaby.

The truck blocked the left and middle lanes, with only one lane open for traffic.

Drivers were being warned to expect heavy delays, as crews worked to tow the truck and clear the stall.

The stall was cleared just after 7 a.m.

A day earlier, another semi-truck jackknifed on Highway 1 at 264 Street under the overpass around 5 a.m.

An image from a Drive BC traffic camera showed the truck wedged under the roadway, blocking a number of lanes.

Snowfall in recent days has left roads across the region slick and icy. With more snow in the forecast, drivers should use caution and allow for extra travel time.

More to come.
