Homicide police probe suspicious death in Maple Ridge

Homicide police were sent to Maple Ridge late Sunday evening following the discovery of a dead body.
According to an online post, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was sent to the 24500 block of Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge Sunday after 9 p.m. for a “suspicious death.”
“Investigators are working to confirm identity of the victim,” the post read. “Rural area but used frequently by pedestrians.”
