A low-pressure area may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility tomorrow, the State weather bureau said yesterday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration last spotted the LPA at 1,930 kilometers east of Mindanao.
PAGASA weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the LPA is expected to enter the country tomorrow but has a slim chance of developing into a tropical depression.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring light rains over Northern and Central Luzon this weekend.
Cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Cagayan Valley
